General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Senior Enterprise Architect to drive architecture development and modernization across networking, data, applications, cloud, and security. You will provide senior technical guidance, ensuring solutions are secure, interoperable, and aligned with mission objectives.
In this hybrid role, you will contribute to roadmaps, collaborate with cybersecurity teams, and mentor junior staff while upholding DoW/Army/DISA standards and zero-trust concepts.
The Enterprise Architecture team defines, documents, and advances the enterprise IT environment across networking, infrastructure, applications, cloud, and cybersecurity. We support mission-critical IT and cybersecurity initiatives across 54 states and territories in alignment with Army, DISA, and DoW policies, ensuring a secure, scalable, and modern environment.
As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will be a seasoned technical contributor. You will drive architecture development and modernization, provide senior-level technical guidance, and help ensure that solutions are consistent, secure, and aligned with mission and business objectives. While not a formal team lead, you will be relied on for deep expertise and sound architectural judgment.
In this role, you will:
Education High School Diploma required. AA/AS/BA/BS in IT or a related technical discipline preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications/training, and work experience.
Experience 5+ years of progressive experience in Enterprise Architecture, Systems Architecture, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related IT disciplines. Experience supporting or designing large-scale enterprise environments (on-prem, hybrid, and/or cloud). Experience in DoW, Army, DISA, or other federal/defense environments strongly preferred.

Security Clearance: Active SECRET security clearance required and must be maintained.
Location: Falls Church, VA
Work Schedule: Three (3) days onsite with up to two (2) days telework per week. Onboarding/transition period requires onsite support for up to 60 days. Work schedules are subject to change based on mission requirements as directed by GDIT or USG leadership.

The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
