Job summary

Hoffman Mechanical Solutions is seeking an Enterprise Applications Specialist to own the Vista ERP environment, ensuring reliable systems, accurate data, and user-friendly operations across service, operations, and administration.

You will troubleshoot, analyze performance, implement improvements, and coordinate with stakeholders to keep Viewpoint Vista and related front-office apps aligned with HMS workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in business analysis, ERP administration, or a related role.
• Experience in the HVAC service or mechanical service industry required.
• Experience with Viewpoint Vista is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Power BI and Spreadsheet Server is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Viewpoint Vista and related front office applications.
• Monitor ERP and system performance; identify and resolve issues before they impact operations.
• Troubleshoot software, user access, and system-related problems with timely resolution.
• Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, workflows, and processes.
• Analyze data and system performance to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Support testing and validation of new reports, configurations, and system changes prior to deployment.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical resources to ensure solutions fit operational needs.
• Support business initiatives and other related duties as assigned.
• Provide responsive technical support to end-users across service, operations, and administrative functions.
• Develop and deliver training to help staff use front office applications confidently and correctly.

ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST

POSITION PURPOSE

The Enterprise Applications Specialist owns the day-to‑day health of our Viewpoint Vista ERP environment — keeping systems reliable, data accurate, and end-users equipped to do their jobs without friction.

This role connects business operations and technology. You’ll troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and work closely with service, operations, and administrative stakeholders to ensure our applications support the way HMS operates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Application Administration

• Support the installation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Viewpoint Vista and related front office applications.
