Job summary

SkyWest is seeking an experienced Enterprise AI Architect to drive AI strategy and implementation across business and technology teams. You will shape architecture standards, oversee solutions using LLMs and AI agents, and collaborate with engineers to embed AI across enterprise systems.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on experience with cloud AI services, and the ability to translate business goals into scalable technical designs. This position is based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software development or architecture roles.
• 2+ years designing cloud-based solutions.
• 2+ years in AI/ML/LLM or Copilot related projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize AI opportunities with business and technology leaders.
• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise AI solutions using LLMs, AI agents, and related tech.
• Establish enterprise AI standards, patterns, and governance.
• Analyze processes to find AI, automation, or software value.
• Design RAG, knowledge management, and intelligent search platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering to integrate AI into apps, APIs, and systems.
