Job summary

SAP is seeking a senior Data and Applied Science professional to design and scale AI and semantic data solutions across enterprise data landscapes. You will work on ontologies, data integration, and large-scale ML deployments using SAP’s data platforms and cloud services.

You will translate complex business challenges into concrete AI solutions, collaborating with product, engineering, and customers to deliver scalable, production-ready models and data assets for global SAP applications.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related quantitative fields.
10+ years in ML/AI, with hands-on model development, evaluation, and production deployment.
Strong Python and SQL skills with ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
Experience deploying AI/ML in production, including lifecycle handoff and monitoring.
Experience with Databricks and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Excellent communication and collaboration in agile settings.
Deep knowledge of SAP data models, metadata, and core business processes.

Responsibilities

Design and develop AI and semantic data solutions using SAP master data domains.
Build enterprise ontologies and semantic models across SAP and non-SAP data lands.
Work with cloud platforms to support reliable AI workflows.
Translate business challenges into AI use cases and technical designs.
Develop end-to-end ML solutions from data preprocessing to deployment and maintenance.
Apply advanced ML methods to solve enterprise-scale problems.
Develop AI capabilities including generative AI and LLM-based solutions.
Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure scalable solutions.
