Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Corporate AI Security Architect to lead cyber security architecture and governance for the enterprise AI ecosystem.

You will drive AI security strategy, establish standards, and partner with IT, Legal, Compliance, and leadership to enable responsible AI adoption while protecting IP and data. The role requires deep AI/ML security expertise, compliance experience (ITAR/EAR), and the ability to communicate complex topics to executives.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
Ten (10)+ years of experience in cyber security architecture with at least two (2)+ years focused on AI/ML security.
Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML technologies, including Large Language Models, and related security governance and risk considerations.
Deep understanding of AI security threats including prompt injection, jailbreaking, data poisoning, model inversion, and output exfiltration risks.
Experience with ITAR and EAR regulations as they apply to technical data, software, and AI/ML systems.
Experience with regulated cloud environments including FedRAMP, CMMC Level 2, and DoD IL4/IL5 environments.
Strong knowledge of frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001.
Experience designing governance, monitoring, and control frameworks in complex enterprises.
Experience with Data Loss Prevention and information rights management in cloud/AI environments.
Experience producing executive-level reporting, metrics, dashboards, and risk communications.
Leadership, communication, and influencing skills for executive audiences.
Background in adversarial ML and AI red-teaming preferred.
Experience evaluating third-party AI vendors and AI supply chain risks preferred.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or AI/security-related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Architect and lead the cyber security strategy, governance, and technical direction for Moog's enterprise AI program.
Develop, implement, and enhance AI security policies, standards, controls, and enforcement strategies.
Act as enterprise SME for AI security governance and guidance on secure, compliant AI usage.
Own and maintain Moog's AI compliance framework including ITAR/EAR requirements.
Define data inputs, output monitoring, geographic access controls, model access policies, and audit trails.
Evaluate AI platforms/vendors for security posture, data residency, training data practices, and export control compliance.
Lead AI security certification initiatives and establish documentation for compliance objectives.
Conduct threat modeling and security reviews for AI solutions entering production.
Investigate AI-related security incidents including prompt injection, data access, and model misuse.
Establish governance for controlled data, CUI, IP, personnel information, and business data in AI systems.
Develop AI security awareness content for governance committees and leadership teams.
Maintain AI security metrics and regular reporting to executives.
