Job summary

Rockefeller Capital Management is seeking a Vice President, Project Manager, AI Initiatives to govern and deliver firmwide AI programs. You will coordinate business, technology, risk, and vendor teams to move AI opportunities from intake to controlled delivery and adoption.

The role requires strong PM discipline, hands-on AI experience, and executive-level communication in a regulated financial services environment. This is a high-visibility, cross-functional position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Finance or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in technology program or project management within financial services or a regulated environment.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale AI programs and cross-functional delivery.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, and governance frameworks.
• Proficiency with Copilot and Claude toolsets to support research and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery lifecycle for firmwide AI initiatives, including intake, prioritization, business case development, planning, execution, and adoption.
• Serve as hands-on execution lead balancing strategic planning with detailed follow-through.
• Collaborate with Technology, business, risk, and vendor teams to ensure compliant delivery.
• Maintain enterprise view of AI portfolio with status, milestones, risks, and reporting.
• Develop project plans, RAID logs, decision logs, and executive updates for transparency.
• Coordinate AI pilots, PoCs, and production deployments with proper testing and adoption plans.
• Support governance routines by preparing agendas, readouts, and decision documentation.
• Partner with product, architecture, engineering, data, and vendors to align requirements and resolve blockers.
• Contribute to repeatable AI delivery practices and operating cadences.
• Drive business readiness and change management including training and post-launch monitoring.
