Job summary

Talentify is seeking an AI/ML Engineer in Fort Mill, SC for a 12-month contract. You will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered features across enterprise apps, build RAG pipelines, and ensure scalable, production-grade AI solutions with strong Python and API capabilities.

The role requires experience with LLMs, MLOps, and cloud deployment, and involves collaboration in Agile teams. Onsite with flexible arrangements, and a focus on responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering enterprise software solutions with hands-on AI/ML development.
• Strong understanding of ML concepts, model development, evaluation, and deployment.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG-based applications.
• Strong Python development experience, including APIs.
• Experience building production-grade APIs and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and deploying AI workloads.
• Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.
• Experience with SQL and large-scale data processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; translate business needs into AI solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in Agile, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered features for enterprise apps.
• Build and optimize AI/LLM workflows including agentic pipelines.
• Develop RAG pipelines with improved accuracy and grounding.
• Create evaluation frameworks and automated testing for model quality.
• Develop, integrate, and deploy ML models and LLM solutions in production.
• Build backend services with Python; contribute to frontend with React as needed.
• Develop scalable APIs and services to integrate AI into apps.
• Optimize AI systems for performance, latency, scalability, and cost.
• Apply responsible AI principles with explainability and governance.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and mentoring; promote best practices.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech and propose value-driven improvements.
