Job summary

Cohere Inc. is seeking a technically hands-on role to design and deploy production-grade, Python-based AI solutions. You will lead the development of LLM-powered agents, integrating across tools, APIs, and sensitive data sources, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and enterprise readiness.

The role covers end-to-end product delivery for Cohere’s North AI workspace and requires building robust evaluation frameworks and collaborating with enterprise customers on complex problems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production-grade software in Python.
• Built and deployed RAG/agentic applications.
• Familiar with frontier models, vector DBs, orchestration frameworks.
• Ability to build robust evaluation frameworks for agent accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Experience working directly with customers and translating needs into specs.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into agentic workflows with clear criteria.
• Design, build, and ship LLM-powered agents across tools and data sources.
• Develop features for North, the AI workspace platform, through full product lifecycle.
• Own use-case scoping end-to-end, including frontend work when needed.
• Contribute to shared frameworks and patterns for consistent delivery.
• Drive clarity and alignment to raise engineering quality.
