Job summary

Applix seeks a Principal AI Architect to own the enterprise AI platform, establish technical standards, and govern AI design, build, and deployment across the company. This hands-on leadership role requires deep expertise to scale secure, robust AI systems.

You will partner with engineering, data, security, risk, and business leaders to ensure responsible AI, regulatory alignment, and cost-efficient operations at scale from the plant floor to production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering or enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years architecting and deploying production AI/ML at scale.
• Deep, hands-on experience across ML, CV, and LLM/agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI platform architecture and governance.
• Lead design reviews ensuring security, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
• Deliver production AI systems spanning ML, DL, CV, and LLM workloads.
• Mentor engineers and align AI strategy with business goals.
