Job summary

The City of Chesapeake is seeking an innovative and strategic Enterprise AI & Analytics Program Manager to lead enterprise AI, analytics, and digital transformation efforts. You will report to the CIO and shape how AI and data improve government operations and resident services.

The role requires seven years of related experience, strong strategic acumen, and ability to communicate with executives; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, master’s preferred.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
Minimum seven years of related, full-time experience in enterprise technology or digital transformation.
Valid driver’s license; certifications in AI, analytics, cloud or project management are preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage the City’s Enterprise AI & Analytics Program and roadmap.
Partner with City leadership to identify AI/analytics opportunities to improve services.
Lead governance, responsible AI practices, and technology standards.
Manage a portfolio of AI, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
Design predictive analytics, dashboards, and performance metrics.
Support data-informed decision-making and change management.
