Job summary

Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc. seeks an Affordability Portfolio Manager to coordinate governance, tracking, and reporting for affordability initiatives across departments. You will drive milestones, manage risk, and prepare executive materials to support decisions.

The role requires strong project coordination experience, healthcare operations knowledge, and excellent communication. A PMP or similar certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in project coordination, program administration, healthcare operations, governance support, portfolio coordination or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Project Management, Finance, or related field; in lieu of degree, six additional years of related experience.
• PMP or other project management certification preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, health insurance, project management, governance processes, or portfolio administration.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead affordability governance meetings, workgroups, steering committees, and operational forums.
• Develop agendas, materials, minutes, action logs, and decision trackers.
• Maintain affordability initiative inventory, intake logs, status trackers, and portfolio documentation.
• Assist with executive presentations, dashboards, and reporting materials.
• Lead cross-functional affordability initiatives and governances.
• Present portfolio recommendations and status to leadership forums.
