Job summary

JCS Solutions is seeking a Quest Migration Pro SME to support the Defense Enclave Services (DES) program for DISA and DoD agencies. You will lead planning, design, and execution of enterprise Active Directory migrations using Quest Migration Manager and Quest Migrator Pro, migrating thousands of users with minimal disruption.

The role requires deep AD migration expertise, SID History, inter-forest trusts, and strong collaboration with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• :Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 5-8 years
• :Active DoD Secret clearance
• Minimum 7 years of experience supporting enterprise Microsoft Active Directory environments
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience utilizing Quest Migration Manager (QMM) or Quest Migrator Pro
• Experience designing and supporting Active Directory forest migrations, consolidations, or restructures

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of enterprise AD migrations using Quest tools
• Develop migration runbooks, wave plans, rollback procedures, and technical documentation
• Configure and administer Quest Migration Manager components
• Design and troubleshoot AD trusts required to support migration operations
• Develop PowerShell automation to support validation, reporting, and provisioning
• Coordinate with Endpoint Engineering teams to ensure workstation migrations
• Collaborate with Identity Management on synchronization and data integrity
• Support migration of file shares, permissions, and security resources
• Troubleshoot AD replication, Kerberos, DNS, trusts, and GPO processing
• Provide technical leadership during migration events and post-migration stabilization
