This role will ideally sit in the West Region of the US

Anaplan is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive focusing on the TMT (Telco, Media, Technology) Industry. In this role, you will leverage your proven track record in selling sophisticated technology solutions and account management to promote our versatile platform. You will help industry leaders understand how our connected planning solution can eliminate siloed decision-making, achieving immediate business goals and future-proofing their organizations.

This position will be key to Anaplan’s growth and digital transformation efforts. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President (RVP), you will manage up to 15-25 accounts within a defined territory, including new greenfield accounts and existing customers. Your focus will be on expanding our footprint through new logo acquisition and growth within current accounts.

Your Impact

  • Engage with prospects in the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors to identify broken processes and demonstrate how Anaplan’s solutions address these issues.
  • Build and communicate the business value of Anaplan throughout the sales process.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to senior executives, including Directors, SVPs, and C-suite leaders such as CFOs and CROs.
  • Manage opportunities from start to finish across multiple targets and functions.
  • Apply our value-based selling methodology and tools for accurate forecasting and sales process management.
  • Identify expansion opportunities through cross-selling and up-selling within targeted accounts.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development, Marketing, Solution Consultants, and Customer Success teams.

Your Qualifications

  • 5+ years of consultative sales experience, preferably with Fortune 2000 companies and SaaS solutions.
  • Proven success selling to Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents.
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas with multiple high six-figure deals.
  • Strong industry network with customers and partners.
  • Understanding of supply chain, FP&A, workforce planning, and sales functions.
  • Excellent opportunity management and negotiation skills, capable of handling multiple opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or relevant experience.
  • Experience selling into technology, media, and telecom sectors.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SFDC, Altify, Marketo, Engagio.
  • Account planning expertise with tools like MEDPICC or Miller Heiman.
  • Previous SaaS sales experience in Telco, Media, or Tech industries.

Base Salary Range: $139,000 — $188,000 USD
