Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Account Executive

Location: Remote – Greater New England Territory

Hybrid: 25% travel

Employees: 50 | Team Size: 3

Seeking experienced enterprise sales professionals with a proven track record of scaling regional enterprise technology solutions. This role requires independence and a strategic mindset to drive both tactical and strategic sales activities. You will leverage marketing-generated leads, customer referrals, and your own prospecting efforts to cultivate relationships and expand market presence. As an enterprise account executive, your responsibilities span the entire sales cycle – from lead qualifications through proof of concept (POC) to final procurement and deployment phases. Success will be measured by the ability to generate new revenue and expand existing licenses.

You will develop a deep understanding of customer architectures, goals, and operational processes, educating them on how our solutions resolve challenges arising from misconfigurations and changes. Working alongside presales, marketing, and customer success teams, you’ll articulate our unique value proposition and drive adoption.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy encompassing prospecting, qualification, development, and closure to penetrate targeted enterprise markets and territories.
  • Formulate and execute strategic account plans aimed at driving adoption of our products and expanding commercial footprint within key accounts.
  • Master product offerings, understanding customer pain points and market dynamics to effectively integrate this knowledge into the sales process.
  • Present compelling value propositions and tailored use cases that address both explicit and implicit customer requirements.
  • Foster trust and cultivate strong relationships with customers and across internal teams, demonstrating authenticity and integrity.
  • Promote internal and external collaboration internally and with customers through clear communication, task facilitation, and mutual accountability.

  • 5+ years of proven success in territory sales roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently surpass revenue targets and performance benchmarks.
  • Proficient in navigating complex enterprise sales cycles as well as transactional sales processes from start to finish.
  • Deep domain expertise in IT Operations/SaaS complemented by a broad understanding of IT management and automation technologies.
  • Skilled in presenting and explaining intricate solutions to executives and key-decision makers.
  • Enterprise Sales experience capable of identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities while expanding business with existing clients.
  • Prior experience in a startup or small company preferred.
