Job description

Synqly is growing and looking for our second account executive to serve as the definitive face of enterprise sales. This is a builder’s role, not one where you inherit an established playbook. This is also a role with unlimited upside with massive opportunity to blow out your number.

You will carry two related but distinct motions:

  • Enterprise sales (primary focus): selling Synqly Arq for Enterprise directly to security teams at larger organizations. This is where much of your time will be focused.
  • OEM sales (established): support selling Synqly’s core unified API infrastructure to cybersecurity and IT software vendors who embed our connectors into their own products.

You will be a crucial member of the go-to-market team, partnering closely with product and marketing leadership to help define strategy, architect the enterprise GTM sales plan, and build out critical channel initiatives. You will have real input into how the sales process gets built as the company scales.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Full Cycle: Drive end-to-end enterprise sales for Synqly Arq, from outbound prospecting through demo, evaluation, negotiation, and close.
  • Architect the Enterprise GTM Plan: Partner directly with marketing and GTM leadership on messaging, competitive positioning, and field feedback that shapes the overarching go-to-market strategy.
  • Build Your Own Pipeline: Proactively source and build your own outbound pipeline. This is a hands-on, outbound-driven seat, not one built on inbound leads.
  • Drive Channel & OEM Initiatives: Step in on OEM sales conversations with cybersecurity and IT software vendors as needed, while actively supporting new channel initiatives to expand our indirect revenue footprint.
  • Strategic Industry Representation: Represent Synqly at premier industry events and conferences, including Black Hat and similar cybersecurity events. Rather than simply staffing a booth, you will leverage these summits to network with executives, generate high-value pipeline, and close strategic deals.
  • Maintain Pipeline Discipline: Manage pipeline hygiene, forecasting, and deal tracking in HubSpot.

What You Need

  • Startup Pedigree: A track record as a quota-carrying account executive at an early-stage or high-growth startup, ideally as one of the first sales hires (AE #1 through #5) where you helped build the sales process rather than stepping into an established one.
  • Strategic Go-To-Market Experience: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing and product leadership to build enterprise sales plans and support emerging channel partner strategies.
  • Outbound Expertise: Demonstrated comfort with outbound prospecting—you know how to create your own momentum and build pipeline from the ground up.
  • Cybersecurity Fluency: Technical proficiency in cybersecurity and/or IT operations; you can speak credibly with security engineers about complex concepts like SIEM, EDR, identity, cloud security, and API-based integrations.
  • Executive Presence: The ability to command a room and serve as the definitive face of the company’s enterprise motion to senior security leadership.
  • Operational Discipline: Hands-on experience managing pipeline, forecasting, and building repeatable, predictable sales motions.
  • Remote Work
  • Health insurance
  • Vision insurance

About Synqly

In an era where the average enterprise uses over 80 different security tools, the biggest threat to the security stack isn’t just threat actors; it's the complexity of the stack itself. Synqly is the first security-focused integration platform designed to bridge the gap between fragmented tools and seamless operations. We provide a unified API that allows security vendors and enterprises to establish the integrations they need at scale all while reducing manual overhead and accelerating time-to-value for security teams.

We are a venture-backed, remote-first startup built by industry veterans who are tired of "integration debt." At Synqly, we aren't just building a connector; we are building the foundational fabric that allows thex entire cybersecurity ecosystem to work as one.
