Job Title: Enterprise Account Executive – Electronics, Robotics & Semi-Conductors

Salary Range: $75,000 – $100,000 (Base, plus commission)

Reports to: Managing Director of Sales

Position Overview

An innovative SaaS organization is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive growth within the Electronics, Robotics, and Semi-Conductors sector. This role is ideal for a consultative B2B sales professional with experience in high-tech industries, particularly those focused on research and development, innovation, or intellectual property. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, a passion for problem-solving, and a strong ability to communicate value to senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities in the Electronics, Robotics, and Semi-Conductor markets. Consistently exceed individual revenue targets.
  • Named Account Development: Build and manage a pipeline of enterprise-level prospects. Develop strategic plans to engage key accounts.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct in-depth needs assessments and present tailored solutions to clients in R&D, legal, engineering, and innovation roles.
  • Market Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and the competitive landscape to enhance solution positioning.
  • Sales Execution: Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business goals. Participate in internal quarterly reviews to report on progress.
  • Product Demonstrations: Lead engaging and informative presentations and product demos, highlighting ROI and competitive advantages.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate sales pipeline data using MEDDIC methodology and CRM tools (Salesforce). Deliver regular sales forecasts and performance reports.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to support client acquisition and retention.
  • Travel: Attend industry events, client meetings, and trade shows as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in B2B sales, with a strong preference for SaaS, or innovation tools sales within the electronics or manufacturing sector.
  • Industry Insight: Proven success selling to companies in the Electronics, Robotics, or Semiconductor space. Existing industry network is a plus.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value deals with multi-month sales cycles.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Tech Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and standard business software (MS Office, Teams, etc.).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Intellectual Property, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
