Job summary

Brooksource seeks an experienced Enterprise Architecture Lead in Houston to steer the EA team and drive strategic technology initiatives. You will partner with business and technology leadership, establish governance, and oversee roadmaps, standards, and architectural practices to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Architecture Review Board, Technology Innovation Review, and Architecture Community of Practice.
• Partner with leadership to align architecture priorities with strategy, investments, and roadmaps.
• Oversee principles, standards, reference architectures, roadmaps, and repositories.
• Ensure consistent review, decision-making, documentation, exceptions, and risk tracking.
• Manage tooling, data quality, repositories, dashboards, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate architecture involvement in strategic programs, transformations, regulatory efforts, and modernization.
• Drive application portfolio management, lifecycle management, standards compliance, and debt visibility.
• Promote reuse of enterprise capabilities, approved platforms, design patterns, and shared services.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, applications, operations, procurement, finance, and business teams to plan technology.
• Monitor metrics: standards adoption, cycle time, portfolio health, risk, reuse, and roadmap progress.
• Facilitate decision-making and resolve architecture conflicts across teams and domains.
• Support budget planning, resource planning, vendor engagement, and governance.
• Represent EA in leadership meetings, planning forums, and governance bodies.
• Build and mature the Architecture Community of Practice.
• Ensure team compliance with policies, security, ethics, and regulatory expectations.
