Job summary

Amerita, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks an Enteral Technician Supervisor to oversee enteral staff and ensure efficient delivery of formulas and supplies to patients. The role works closely with Nutrition Managers, Technicians, and Couriers to optimize the enteral nutrition program’s effectiveness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in organizing information and communicating with the public.
• Experience in enteral nutrition.
• Experience ordering products and coordinating deliveries.
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible and able to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Knowledge of medical records, reimbursement and/or nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Monitors workload of staff and collaborates with management on staffing needs.
• Facilitates staff development and cross-training.
• Delegates duties to streamline workflow.
• Participates in hiring and training of new Pharmacy Technicians.
• Conducts performance reviews with Nutrition Manager signoff.
• Performs monthly monitoring calls and tracks enteral supply inventory.
• Maintains current enteral orders and renewals; communicates with prescribers.
• Takes payments from patients/caregivers as required.
• Responds to patient inquiries and tracks shipments.
• Coordinates pump needs with Pump Management and pharmacy teams.
• Coordinates inventory with Supply Chain and warehouse staff.
• Follows discharge inactivity process to maintain census.
• Escalates clinical or operational issues as needed.
