Job summary

The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) Otolaryngology Service provides comprehensive care for patients who have illnesses within the otolaryngology scope. The scope of these activities covers hospitalized patients and all phases of ambulatory care.

Other responsibilities may include education of medical students and residents. We are seeking a physician with an MD or DO, Texas medical licensure eligibility, approved residency, and preferably board certification for faculty

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school
• Full and unrestricted medical license in the United States
• Completed residency in an approved core ENT/medicine specialty
• Board certification preferred for faculty status
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within the ENT scope across inpatient and ambulatory settings
• Engage in medical student and resident education as applicable
• Participate in clinical leadership and committee activities
• Maintain clinical credentials and participate in quality improvement
