Job summary

Avera is seeking a qualified physician to provide direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and comprehensive care in a multidisciplinary setting in Sioux Falls. You will participate in collaborative care, maintain accurate records, and educate patients and families as part of a patient-centered team.

The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO, is board certified or eligible, and has active licensure or eligibility to practice in the state.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy licensed to practice in the state of service.
• Board certification or eligibility in appropriate specialty.
• Active or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the state served.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care per approved protocols.
• Deliver health education to patients and families and promote patient empowerment.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required.
• Document patient records accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure quality, safe care.
