Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network seeks a Physician to deliver general medical services in both practice and hospital settings. The role emphasizes high-quality, cost-effective care and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include performing history and physicals, coordinating patient care, education, and maintaining up-to-date medical knowledge. Eligible candidates must be board-certified/eligible and MD/DO licensed in the practicing state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with residency and/or fellowship completed in specialty.
• Current or recent experience in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced based medicine.
• Adhere to standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by medical staff.
• Demonstrate competency in assessment, treatment, and communication suited to patient age.
• Provide regular communication with referring physicians, patients and families.
• Participate in education of patients and families.
• Coordinate patient care and make referrals as needed; collaborate with other professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with safety and reporting requirements.
