Qualifications

• Master degree required for Physician Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Prescribes pharmaceuticals according to patient age and conditions.
• Performs routine and specialty physical exams and preventive screenings.
• Educates patients to promote wellness and address health risks.
• Interprets tests and coordinates referrals or consultations.
• Performs procedures as necessary.
• Dispenses pharmaceuticals per guidelines.
• Manages workers’ compensation cases and communicates with employers.
• Maintains professional ethics and licenses.
• Provides coverage for patients during hours, evenings and weekends.
• Performs other duties within scope of responsibilities.
