Job summary

Houston Methodist seeks a Physician Assistant (PA) with ACLS certification to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical and preventive care under the supervision of a licensed physician. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and graduate from an accredited PA program (NCCPA)
• PA-C NCCPA certification and Texas licensure
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or as applicable
• DEA license within 6 months as a condition of employment

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical and preventative care under physician supervision.
• Exams, diagnoses, prescribes, interprets tests and orders therapies.
• Inpatient and outpatient care; may assist in surgery; participate in rounds and treatment planning.
