Job summary

The Hershel 'Woody' Williams Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Huntington, WV, is seeking a BE/BC Otolaryngology physician to join our surgical team. This VA facility provides comprehensive ENT care, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and supports Whole Health initiatives for Veterans.

We offer a competitive compensation package, sign-on incentives, and generous benefits. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with limited on-call, and no telework or travel requirements.

Qualifications

BE/BC Otolaryngology physician with VA or hospital experience preferred.
Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology/ENT.
Licensure to practice in the United States.

Responsibilities

Perform initial histories and physicals for inpatients and outpatients and perform major/minor ENT procedures.
Prescribe medications and order diagnostic studies (labs, x-rays, EKGs, CT scans).
Screen patients to determine need for further ENT care and provide consultations.
Evaluate and treat ENT diseases to palliate or cure.
Work schedule: 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Friday; limited on-call; no telework or travel required.
