Job description

ENT Medical Director / Otolaryngology Physician

Location: Ithaca, NY

Compensation: $500K+ with a $100K signing bonus and $15K relocation assistance

Position Overview: We are seeking an MD/DO with board certification and at least 5 years of ENT experience. The candidate will lead a high-volume ENT program offering comprehensive services, including head & neck surgery, otology, and laryngology, supported by a collaborative team of specialists, advanced practice providers, and a strong referral network. A commitment to mentoring, program development, and fostering a team-oriented culture is essential.

  • Experience in developing junior staff/faculty
  • Proven academic and professional service accomplishments to advance ENT at Guthrie
  • Experience in a high-volume, well-established practice
  • Support for subspecialty programs for adult (Head & Neck, Rhinology, Otology) and general pediatric services
  • Modern, free-standing clinic facilities
  • Updated ORs with robotic access in remodeled ICU and Emergency Department
  • Robust Epic EHR system (top 1% of Epic organizations)
