Job summary

Northwest Florida ENT in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support one physician and three PAs in patient care, clerical, and organizational tasks. You will help manage patient flow, escort patients to exam rooms, and assist with allergy testing and pulmonary function tests.

Proficiency with the Electronic Health Record system is required, along with strong clinical and administrative skills, confidentiality, and a professional, compassionate demeanor.

Qualifications

• Certified MA with clinical and administrative competencies.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a team-based environment.
• Knowledge of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist 1 physician and 3 PA providers with patient care and clerical tasks.
• Develop proficiency in the Electronic Health Record system.
• Support patient flow, accompany patients to exam rooms, and perform testing as directed.
• Prepare for exams, collect histories, and document information.
• Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and manage charts.
