Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for an ENT clinic. The role, full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, focuses on patient assessments, wound care, and coordination of care under RN supervision.

You will administer medications as directed, document care, and assist in planning patient care with the RN. A KY LPN license and BCLS are required, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license to practice in Kentucky in good standing.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT codes, insurance benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients by collecting data for RN analysis under RN supervision.
• Perform plan of care interventions including wound care and specimen collection.
• May administer medications as directed.
• Document patient care provided and communicate status to RN, physician, patient and families.
• Assist RN with development of plans of care and coordination of appointments.
