LA CENTA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in a fast-paced ENT/allergy clinic in Palmdale, CA. The role involves patient intake, documentation in the EMR, room preparation, and assisting with in-office procedures to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining patient confidentiality while delivering a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Prior Medical Assistant experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• General knowledge of HIPAA and applicable patient confidentiality requirements; CPT codes knowledge preferred.

Responsabilités

• Room patients according to established clinic standards and workflows.
• Verify patient information and collect medical history.
• Assist with in-office procedures and document in EMR.
• Coordinate patient care and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments; route patient communications.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and ensure infection-control practices.
