Job summary

Harlem Children's Zone's Promise Academy seeks an Admissions Coordinator to manage the enrollment journey from inquiry through registration, ensuring a smooth experience for scholars and families.

You will work with the Director of Operations to maintain accurate records, support outreach, and coordinate enrollment activities across multiple schools within HCZ's cradle-to-career pathway.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Fluency in Spanish or French highly preferred.
• Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS) like PowerSchool, School Mint, Jupiter, etc.
• Strong work ethic with impeccable attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire enrollment process from inquiry to registration, guiding families and answering questions.
• Assist families with enrollment documentation and ensure timely submission of forms.
• Review and post enrollment paperwork promptly to keep records current and accurate.
• Coordinate registration activities, including Brigance testing and Home Language Surveys, and assist families with online registration.
• Serve as primary contact for prospective families via phone, email, and in-person meetings and provide follow-up.
