Job summary

Lakeshore Talent is seeking an Enrollment Specialist (Sales) to join a healthcare organization in Los Angeles, CA. You will manage the enrollment process from inquiry to onboarding, building relationships with prospective participants and families, and developing referral partnerships.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven, healthcare-focused sales professional who is comfortable using CRM systems and moving prospects through a sales process to help individuals access the right services.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of healthcare-focused sales, intake, admissions, or enrollment experience.
  • Experience with both B2B and B2C settings including hospitals and patient interactions.
  • Familiar with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot, Zoho or PlayMaker.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, social work, or related field.
  • Reliable personal transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for prospective participants during qualification and enrollment.
  • Educate participants and families on available healthcare services.
  • Use consultative sales techniques to move prospects toward enrollment.
  • Build relationships with hospitals, providers, senior living communities, and referral sources.
  • Manage enrollment through CRM, collect required documentation, and monitor progress.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth eligibility and benefits processing.
  • Present cases to enrollment teams and close qualified prospects.
  • Conduct home or center visits as needed to support enrollment timelines.

Job description

Lakeshore Talent is in search of an Enrollment Specialist (Sales) to join a healthcare organization in Los Angeles, CA. This role is responsible for managing the enrollment process from initial inquiry through successful onboarding, building relationships with prospective participants and their families, and developing strong referral partnerships throughout the healthcare and senior care communities.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven, healthcare-focused sales professional who is comfortable working with both individual consumers and professional referral sources. This person should be confident using CRM systems, skilled at moving prospects through a sales process, and passionate about helping individuals access the appropriate healthcare and support services.

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Employment Type: Direct Hire
  • Salary: $57,784–$69,900 annually
  • Additional Compensation: Commission opportunities and incentives
  • Travel: Local travel may be required for home visits, center visits, community outreach, and referral meetings
  • Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, good driving record, and required auto insurance
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective participants throughout the qualification and enrollment process.
  • Conduct intake meetings and gather information regarding individual needs, circumstances, and service requirements.
  • Educate prospective participants, families, caregivers, and representatives on available healthcare services.
  • Use consultative sales techniques to understand customer needs, overcome objections, and move prospects toward enrollment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, senior living communities, community organizations, and other referral sources.
  • Identify and generate additional referral opportunities through professional and community relationships.
  • Schedule and conduct home visits, center visits, tours, and other meetings with prospective participants.
Enrollment Process Management
  • Manage prospects through the complete enrollment process, ensuring applications progress accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain timely and accurate prospect information and activity within the CRM system.
  • Collect required documentation and information from applicants, families, representatives, referral sources, and other parties.
  • Monitor each applicant's progress and proactively address barriers or missing information.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate eligibility and benefits processes.
  • Present prospective participant cases to internal enrollment teams, clearly communicating the individual's needs, circumstances, and service requirements.
  • Apply strong sales and closing skills to successfully convert qualified prospects into enrolled participants.
  • Conduct home and center visits as needed to support enrollment requirements and timelines.
  • Coordinate with operations, clinical teams, marketing, eligibility, accounting, and other departments to ensure a smooth transition following enrollment.
  • Provide appropriate handoffs to internal team members after enrollment.
  • Support community outreach and initiatives that strengthen awareness and the organization's reputation.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support a successful enrollment operation.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of successful healthcare-focused sales, intake, admissions, or enrollment experience, ideally involving both:
  • B2B: Hospitals, healthcare providers, senior living communities, referral partners, etc.
  • B2C: Direct interaction with patients, seniors, families, or caregivers
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, managed care, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Veterans Administration benefits, senior care, post-acute care, or a related industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully closing sales or converting qualified leads into customers/participants.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, follow-up, and customer service skills.
  • Sophisticated experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, Zoho, PlayMaker, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable conducting field-based meetings and community outreach.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, social work, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Reliable personal transportation, valid state-issued driver's license, good driving record, and required auto insurance.
