Job summary

City of New York seeks three Community Associates to function as Enrollment Specialists for IDNYC, reviewing documents, guiding applicants, and entering data into the municipal ID system across five boroughs.

You will coordinate information sessions, take photographs, collect electronic signatures, and ensure confidential handling of documents while maintaining quality control. Mon-Fri 9am–5pm schedule.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent with three years of experience in community work or related duties.
• Education and/or experience equivalent to the above.

Responsibilities

• Review applicant documents for completeness and ensure all paperwork is in order.
• Notify applicants of missing documentation and guide how to obtain official documents.
• Data-entry of applicant information into the Municipal ID database with accuracy.
• Use equipment to review the authenticity of documents and maintain confidentiality protocols.
• Take photos and collect electronic signatures for IDNYC cards using program cameras and equipment.
• Finalize and submit the complete IDNYC enrollment package and provide receipts.
• Create and present information to community audiences through sessions, flyers, and brochures.
• Coordinate communications across sites in all five boroughs to support enrollment.
