The Enrollment Manager at Baruch College will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with undergraduate and graduate enrollment areas to support the implementation, adoption and effective use of Baruch College?s CRM platform. Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Communications and Operations, the incumbent will maintain CRM functionality that reflects Baruch?s enrollment funnel and student success strategies. The role includes configuring and maintaining the CRM to ensure smooth and accurate data management, supporting enrollment processes, and delivering insights that drive student recruitment and retention.

As the primary point of contact for CRM management, the Enrollment Manager will develop, implement, and refine communication workflows, campaign automations, and reporting tools. This includes creating a user-friendly interface for internal teams, enhancing data accuracy, and continuously exploring CRM features to improve enrollment processes. The manager will also serve as a critical resource for the CRM implementation team, working collaboratively to train staff, provide user support, and establish best practices for CRM use across the enrollment areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Maintain Slate CRM - Oversee daily administration, user setup, security roles, system configurations, and ensure seamless data integration with university systems (SIS, financial, and vendor platforms).
  • Data Management & Integrity - Perform regular audits, troubleshoot data issues, manage imports/exports, and ensure accurate prospect, inquiry, applicant, and admit records.
  • System Customization & Optimization - Configure and enhance Slate features, including workflows, fields, portals, forms, entities, datasets, and processing rules, to meet institutional needs.
  • Reporting & Analytics - Develop, manage, and refine complex queries, custom reports, and dashboards to support enrollment management, student success, and institutional decision-making.
  • Communication & Campaign Management - Create, test, and deploy automated email and text campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and audience management for Enrollment communications.
  • End-User Support & Training - Provide day-to-day technical support, develop training resources, and conduct workshops to ensure efficient system use across departments.
  • System Performance & Troubleshooting - Monitor system health, identify processing and technology issues, and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Technology Implementation & Process Improvement - Identify, recommend, and integrate new Slate functionalities, ensuring continuous system enhancement and adoption of best practices.
  • Documentation & Compliance - Build and maintain documentation on CRM processes, policies, and security protocols to ensure system integrity and compliance.
  • Collaboration & Strategic Planning - Work with stakeholders across Enrollment and other departments to align CRM capabilities with institutional goals, improving data-driven decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor?s degree and six years? related experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous knowledge and working in Slate
  • Experience that demonstrates good knowledge of manual and automated record management systems¿
  • Demonstrated experience with logic, technical design and workflow concepts¿
  • Understanding of marketing and recruitment communication practices.¿
  • Ability to handle information of sensitive and confidential nature in the utmost professional manner.¿¿
  • Knowledge of FERPA requirements for the security of applicant and student information.¿
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, initiative, resourcefulness, and personal accountability.

  • Oversees daily office activities and staff development to ensure efficient and effective enrollment operations
  • Assists senior management in developing plans, implementing initiatives and assessing performance
  • Recommends and implements improvements to schedules, policies and procedures to advance unit effectiveness
  • Serves as resource expert on enrollment practices to resolve complex student issues, and assists students with special circumstances in receiving support
  • Plans and executes workshops, orientation sessions, and events to acquaint students with enrollment processes
  • Reviews and approves content for print and on-line enrollment materials
  • Prepares analytical and statistical reports for management
  • May manage professional and/or clerical staff as well as department budget
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$73,227- $82,928; Salary commensurate with education and experience.

CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 6.09% with additional increases of 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
