Job summary

City University of New York (CUNY) Accelerated Study in Academic Programs (ASAP) seeks an Admissions Senior Advisor, ASAP Recruitment Specialist (HEOa) to drive outreach and enrollment at Kingsborough Community College. The role handles candidate screening, onboarding, and partnerships with schools and community groups.

The incumbent reports to the ASAP Associate Director of Recruitment and Engagement and will manage events, communications, reporting, and liaison tasks across campus offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and four years of relevant experience are required.
• Master's Degree is preferred.
• Experience with recruiting in higher education is highly valued.
• Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement recruitment strategies to meet enrollment goals.
• Develop and facilitate information sessions, workshops, and events.
• Coordinate student communications during recruitment cycles.
• Recruit prospective students via phone, email, text, and in-person outreach.
• Assist applicants through admissions and onboarding processes.
• Supervise and train ASAP Student Ambassadors.
