Job summary

Lead Public Schools in Nashville seeks a Family and Community Engagement Coordinator to recruit and onboard new students and families, while creating engaging activities that strengthen school-family partnerships and drive enrollment across campuses.

You will coordinate campus events, support family outreach, and build community partnerships, reporting on engagement metrics and ensuring a welcoming, inclusive school culture across LEAD campuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
• Strong project management, organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to quickly build trust with parents, students, and family members.
• Outstanding customer service and ability to communicate with diverse groups.
• Strong analytical, initiative, judgment; proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, mail-merge, and graphics.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard new students and families to meet enrollment goals.
• Track enrollment progress with clear reporting for campus leadership.
• Coordinate family engagement events and community outreach.
• Liaise with MNPS Optional Schools/SchoolMint Enrollment System.
• Develop and implement a campus-based family engagement plan.
• Produce regular reports on engagement metrics (NPS, CSAT, CES).
• Engage community partners and support volunteers for school initiatives.
