Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC) seeks an Enrollment Counselor dedicated to helping individuals and families access health coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace and other safety-net programs. This role involves screening for eligibility, educating on plan options, and guiding patients through the enrollment process with in-person assistance at LSCC facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Experience in program eligibility determination is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-biased information about coverage options and benefits.
• Assist with completing applications for enrollment.
• Verify documents and information gathered for enrollment.
• Handle calls and face-to-face encounters to perform program registrations.
• Ensure accurate screening and enrollment for Marketplace, Medicaid, CHIP, and related programs.
• Identify programs for which patients may be eligible.
• Maintain patient documentation using verification tools and systems.
