Job summary

Acceleration Academies is hiring Enrollment Counselors to drive student enrollment growth across our nationwide academy network. This remote role requires consultative sales or admissions experience and the ability to work from anywhere in the United States where hiring is authorized.

You will engage families, guide applicants through the enrollment process, and maintain CRM records while meeting monthly enrollment targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Sales, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years in telemarketing, call centers, or similar enrollment roles; consultative sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and time management skills.
• Experience with CRM or telemarketing software (HubSpot, Salesforce, Five9, RingCentral) preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States and pass state/federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Engage prospective students and families through inbound and outbound outreach.
• Own the full enrollment funnel from initial inquiry through first day.
• Guide students through application steps with clear directions at each stage.
• Explain school structure, program requirements, pacing, and student responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and meet enrollment goals.
• Collaborate with Document Processors, Registrars, and Academy Directors for a seamless transition.

We are hiring Enrollment Counselors to support student enrollment growth across our academy network. If you have experience in consultative sales, call center or telemarketing environments, admissions, or student services, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As an Enrollment Counselor, you will play a critical role in helping students begin their journey to graduation. Working remotely as part of our Marketing and Enrollment Team, you will guide prospective students and their guardians through the enrollment process with empathy, clarity, and efficiency. This full‑time position is instrumental in helping Acceleration Academies achieve student enrollment growth objectives nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Enrollment

• Engage prospective students and families through inbound and outbound outreach, including leads generated through district partnerships and marketing channels
• Apply a consultative, student-centered approach to understand student goals, address barriers, and support successful enrollment
• Own the full enrollment funnel, managing prospective students from initial inquiry through their first day
• Guide students through application steps, answering questions and providing clear direction at each stage
• Clearly explain school structure, program requirements, pacing expectations, and student responsibilities
• Partner with Document Processors to collect and verify required enrollment documentation
• Maintain accurate, real‑time records of all outreach and interactions within CRM systems
• Consistently meet or exceed assigned enrollment goals and performance metrics

Lead Nurture and Engagement

• Proactively follow up with prospective students to maintain momentum and meet enrollment deadlines
• Identify and address barriers to enrollment by connecting students with appropriate solutions and resources
• Motivate students who may lack confidence or have had challenging prior educational experiences
• Hold supportive, honest conversations about life circumstances and the value of re‑engaging with education
• Collaborate with Document Processors, Registrars, and Academy Directors to ensure a seamless transition to the first day of school
• Demonstrate strong time management and maintain an organized, well‑prioritized pipeline

Advocacy

• Represent Acceleration Academies with professionalism and enthusiasm in every student and guardian interaction
• Promote the value of our mission and dropout prevention model to students and families
• Support broader enrollment team objectives by taking on additional duties as needed

Performance Metrics

• Lead-to-enrollment conversion rate
• Lead response time (SLA adherence)
• Total new enrollments per month
• Daily task completion and adherence to contact strategies
• Application completion rates
• Student show/start rate

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Sales, or a related field preferred
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in telemarketing, call centers, or similar enrollment roles; consultative sales experience preferred
• Skills: Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and time management skills
• Passion: A genuine commitment to supporting students who have disengaged from traditional schooling and a drive to help them succeed
• Technology: Experience with CRM or telemarketing software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Five9, RingCentral) preferred
• Compliance: Must pass state and federal background checks
• Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual, Spanish preferred
• Experience in education, student services, teaching, counseling, or youth engagement
• Familiarity with enrollment software and high-volume calling environments
• Persistence and follow-up discipline
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment
