Job description

Candidate will be responsible for managing the billing and accounts receivable team in the rapidly growing Cigna Payer Solutions Segment. The supervisor manages personnel effectively, striving for improved staff retention, productivity, and service delivery. The supervisor assists the team to achieve excellence in service by ensuring service standards and turnaround times are met and continuously looking for opportunities to improve the environment by implementing improved work flows, use of technology, etc. This roles includes team supervision, developing and maintaining SAP duties, check approvals, tracking undeliverable refunds, investigating SAP reconciliation items and approving vendor payments and other duties as assigned by manager.

  • Strong and independent leader
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proven success in managing accounts receivable and cash application process, systems and teams
  • Subject matter expert in accounting and financial systems/models (SAP and Genasys/AS400 preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively with all levels
  • Success in growing and developing teams
  • Builds strong matrix partner relationships
  • Ability to identify, document and continually improve processes, workflows and tools/technology
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to fast paced and ever changing healthcare insurance environment and payment methodologies
  • Accounting bachelor’s degree and/or 10+ years related accounting and financial analysis experience required
  • Excellent leadership skills including a demonstrated ability in managing a vision, communicating its purpose, and influencing the results

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 61,100 - 101,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
