Job summary

Independent Physicians Resource, Inc. is seeking an EDI Enrollment Analyst to manage daily enrollment tasks for new and existing provider groups using form or online processing. You will enroll provider groups for ERA and EFT payments and ensure accurate Pay-To and billing addresses across insurers and patients.

The role requires reviewing payer requirements trends, updating trackers, and maintaining HIPAA compliance while coordinating with the EDI Enrollment Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Athena Collector System, Excel, insurance and third‑party processing portals a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for completing enrollment tasks in Athena portal.
• Review task history to ensure timely processing of requested enrollments and review of work queues daily to ensure consistent follow‑up.
• Identify, research and communicate payer enrollment issues with the EDI Enrollment Manager and client support team.
• Contact health insurance carriers to verify Pay‑To address information with the payers and update as applicable.
• Keep and update daily trackers for various work‑related tasks and assignments.
• Identify and initiate missing enrollments for new and existing groups.
• Perform other duties and projects assigned.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
• Report any compliance‑related problems, unresolved issues, proposed changes or developments affecting the department or company to the EDI Enrollment Manager

Job Description

The EDI Enrollment Analyst will be responsible for submitting/reviewing daily enrollment tasks for new and existing provider groups through form and/or online processing. This role will enroll provider groups for ERA and EFT payments with various insurance payers and update the provider group’s “Pay‑To” or billing address demographics to ensure all paper checks, EOBs and correspondence reflect accurate information to insurance carriers and patients. This will allow for correct payout information to be noted and processed. The analyst is expected to identify any trends or changes in payer requirements that cause negative impacts on current or future enrollments and communicate those trends to the EDI Enrollment Manager for possible resolution.
