Job summary

Texas State Technical College in Texas is seeking an Admissions Advisor to join the Enrollment and Integrated Marketing team. You will guide applicants through the admissions process, assist with FAFSA and financing, coordinate campus tours, and help applicants understand TSTC programs.

Expect to manage a caseload, collaborate with several departments, stay compliant with FERPA, and travel up to 25% (including overnights). The salary range is $20.13–$22.14 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; exceptional background may be considered in lieu.
• 1–3 years in consultative sales or higher education preferred, especially in recruiting, admissions, records, financial aid, or related fields.
• Prior experience as an Enrollment Coach or similar one-stop enrollment center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide applicants through the admissions process and ensure requirements are met.
• Assist prospective and new applicants with program selection and FAFSA financing.
• Manage a student applicant caseload and provide personalized advisement.
• Collaborate with Veteran Services, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Enrollment teams.
• Maintain records, track activity, and generate monthly engagement reports.
• Perform general admissions and administrative duties, including document handling.
