Job summary

SEO Scholars is a free, eight-year program that transforms NYC high school students into college graduates. SEO Scholars seeks a part-time Enrichment Program Assistant to support enrichment programming operations and student management.

The EP Assistant will create calendars for up to 50 programs, edit essays, arrange sessions, and coordinate post‑application processes, reporting to the Senior Manager of Enrichment Programs.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with databases.
• Willing to work Saturdays and occasional evenings.
• Experience with high school students in admissions or programming roles.

Responsibilities

• Create application calendars for up to 50 enrichment programs.
• Design training materials for scholars and caregivers to explain steps.
• Review essays and provide constructive feedback to scholars.
• Ensure all components of applications are completed on time.
• Manage post-application process, including forms and visa assistance.
• Arrange transportation and track purchases for scholars traveling.
• Lead groups and schedule meetings for applications.
• Schedule one-on-one sessions with scholars needing assistance.
