Belmont Village Aliso Viejo in Orange County, CA is seeking an Activity Enrichment Leader to guide small-group fitness, art, music, and memory enrichment programs for cognitively impaired older adults using our Whole Brain Fitness curriculum.

You'll engage diverse personalities, adapt instruction, and foster enjoyable learning experiences, with opportunities to teach, discuss, or share new skills while growing your career in a collaborative senior living environment.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Lead and teach small groups of cognitively impaired seniors using our award winning therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Prepare materials and conduct relevant research to confidently lead engaging memory enrichment activities
• Assisting with Cognitive Assessments, tracking and trending of resident participation and maintaining compliance related documentation

As an Activity Enrichment Leader at Belmont Village Aliso Viejo in Orange County, CA you’ll use an established, research-based curriculum to lead small-group fitness, art, music, learning, and enrichment programs for cognitively impaired older adults. Qualifications For This Role

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Education or a related field of study. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population
• Ability to work the defined schedule for this position which may include weekends
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Professional, pleasant, adaptable with a team oriented attitude
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
