Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking instructors to lead hands-on programs at partner schools and community locations. These part-time, independent contractor roles offer flexible after-school opportunities across STEM, arts, performance, and enrichment areas.

Compensation starts at $50+ per instructional hour, with rates varying by assignment, experience, and location. Assignments are 8–10 weeks long, rolling start dates, and depend on partner schedules.

Qualifications

• 60+ completed college credits or relevant professional experience appropriate to the assignment.
• Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, instructing, or leading youth programs.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community programs, or similar settings.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Reliability and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction.
• Prepare for sessions using provided curriculum, approved lesson plans, or appropriate instructor-developed activities.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment.
• Encourage student participation and adapt instruction to different ages and experience levels.
• Maintain appropriate student supervision and follow school safety and site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with school personnel and Concorde Education regarding attendance, scheduling, and program needs.
• Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled sessions.
