Job summary

Environmental Designs is hiring Enhancement Crew Members to install and complete landscape enhancement projects. You will perform tasks such as sod, plant, rock, stump, soil, and bark installations, and handle drainage/trench work on site.

Ideal candidates have some landscape construction experience and a strong commitment to quality and customer service. You may need to operate a range of landscape equipment and adhere to safety and attendance requirements.

Qualifications

• Commercial landscape construction experience preferred but not required.
• Driver's license preferred but not required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Strong commitment to high quality of work and customer service.
• Ability to operate commercial landscape equipment and tools.
• Ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape enhancement tasks, including sod, plant, boulder, stump, soil and bark installation, replacement, and/or removal; debris removal; drainage installation; trench digging.
• Safe operation of landscape equipment such as ditch witch, wheelbarrows, power tools, backpack blowers, chipper, stump grinder, riding lawn mower, bobcats, tractors, and bull dozers.
• Assist with initial and on-going training of crews.
• Develop and maintain a positive work relationship with manager and team members.
• Promote and maintain safe working conditions.
• Punctual attendance, meet time expectations, follow dress code and weather/sick-leave policies.

Enhancement Crew Members will be responsible for installing enhancement projects.

• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Frequently works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
• Frequently exposed to loud noise levels

Pay range: $17.00 - $22.00
