This is NOT an entry level position.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of verified work experience as a Hardscape Crew Leader, with contact information for a previous employer provided for verification!

STARTING RATE OF PAY IS $19 PER HOUR AND COULD INCREASE FROM THERE DEPENDENT UPON PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES YOU HOLD.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

1. Valid Driver's License: Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license.
2. Chauffeur’s Endorsement: A chauffeur’s endorsement or chauffeur’s license is necessary.
3. Previous experience: minimum of 1 year as a Hardscapes Crew Leader is necessary.
4. DDOT Medical Card: preferred. Candidate already holds one. If you do not have a DDOT Medical Card you MUST be able to pass a Medical exam that includes a drug test (this is a Federal requirement).

If your resume does not show HARDSCAPES CREW LEADER EXPERIENCE; your application WILL BE REJECTED - make sure your landscaping experience and Hardscapes Crew Leader work experience is on your resume. Applications without resumes WILL BE REJECTED.

You’d be responsible for:

• Efficiency and client standards are attained.
• Conducting site inspections, providing hands-on leadership, and guidance for soil, planting, watering, and insect control.
• Driving and maintaining our vehicles, training personnel with a strong emphasis on safety, handling schedules, and reviewing charts and reports.

You might be a good fit if you have:

• 2 years plus of landscape install experience.
• 1 year (minimum) experience managing a 2+ person crew.
• At least one year of experience in lawn care and landscaping; supervisory experience desired.

And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:

• Driver’s license and good record, strong leadership, and familiarity with the techniques and equipment used in landscaping.
• You must be able to handle the physicality of our work: weather conditions, heavy lifting (30-80 pounds), and extensive walking.
• CDL.
• Reliable transportation.
• Experience running equipment (skid steer, excavator, backhoe, etc.).
• Able to read architectural drawings.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Able to work well with others.
