Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Service Patrol Driver in Donna, TX. This role supports retail-site security with fixed shifts and the option to pick additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

You will provide attentive customer service, perform patrols, monitor for incidents, and assist with access control while maintaining a professional presence. The position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and other security-related concerns to site contacts or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and documenting observations and actions.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and employee/vendor entry procedures while maintaining a professional, customer-focused presence.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Service Patrol Driver in Donna, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun02:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and other security‑related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established procedures and documenting observations and actions taken.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and employee/vendor entry procedures while maintaining a professional, customer‑focused presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
