As an Electrical engineer you will be responsible for troubleshooting, designing and validating electrical printed circuit assemblies or electromechanical assemblies currently in production. Daily duties will include monitoring failure trends by doing investigations on failed parts. Ensuring supply continuity of electrical components by qualifying replacements. Timely closing assigned tasks. Performing complex failure investigations. Collaborating across functions to complete projects. Perform verification and validation on new parts. Support reclamation of existing parts. Provides on‑going engineering support for automated and semi‑automated manufacturing lines. Development of specifications, operating procedures, acceptance and validation test plans and protocols. Able to organize and prioritize assignments providing direction to and participation in assigned cross‑functional teams. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels. Key functional or cross functional liaison with stakeholders concerning operational or project deliverables. Collaborate effectively cross functionally to complete projects. General knowledge and understanding of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 21 CFR 820 and International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Qualifications

Understanding of good documentation practices and attention to detail. Has knowledge of IPC standards having to do with design and manufacture of PCBAs. Has knowledge of IEC 60601 and Quality Management System dictated by FDA CFR21 Part 820. Experience in manufacturing, including implementations on products in existing production. Skilled in Office 365 and modern communication tools to facilitate collaboration with remote teams. Understanding of embedded System and software languages such as C/C++. Able to formulate plans to persuade and influence others of design choices through careful evaluation of each choice. Craft presentations to communicate with others on complex topic. Committed to the success of the team and can lead to teams’ success. Have hardware and software design and integration experience. Be willing to improve and learn new things everyday. Motivated to grow.

Education

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 2‑5 years of experience in an engineering role.
