Job summary

SoftwareSeni is a software development company with bases in Yogyakarta and Sydney, offering English training to all staff. The role focuses on delivering engaging sessions, preparing materials, and assessing progress to improve overall English communication within the organization.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in English/education, have at least two years of experience teaching adults or ESP in a corporate setting, and are proactive communicators capable of collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Has a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Education, a Master’s Degree, or related majors.
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Experience teaching Adults and ESP/Business English in a company setting.
• Able to design and develop training materials from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Train and facilitate English training sessions for all staff.
• Prepare training materials and assessments.
• Handle individual and group classes.
• Coordinate with cross-division members regarding English training sessions.
• Create reports for English training sessions.

Requirements:

• Relevant Degrees (Associate Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree)
• Experience: Has a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Education, a Master’s Degree, or related majors.
• Has experience teaching Adults and experience in teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and Business English in a company setting.
• Familiar with the Training Needs Analysis process and Student-Centred Learning (SCL).
• Able to design and develop Business English training materials from scratch, and open to feedback for continuous improvement.
• Has a minimum of 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Passionate about teaching and facilitating training sessions.
• Able to deliver an interactive training session.
• Has excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Can work as a team player and be self-driven when needed.
• Proven ability to adapt quickly and juggle multiple tasks when needed.
• Has an approachable attitude, is proactive, and is able to communicate effectively.
• Computer literate and familiar with Google Family

Responsibilities:

• Training and facilitating English training sessions for all staff
• Preparing training materials and assessments
• Handling individual classes and group classes
• Arranging and organizing training classes
• Improve the staff’s ability in English communication
• Raise awareness of cross-cultural understanding related to the English/Indonesian languages.
• Creatively create new practical programs/methods to help improve staff’s English communication skills (oral & written)
• Creating reports for English training sessions
• Conducting English Interviews
• Coordinating with cross-division members regarding English training sessions
• Participating in Staff Engagement activities
