enCircle seeks an English Teacher to join its private day school in Roanoke, VA. The role involves creating weekly lesson plans, administering assessments, and differentiating instruction for students ages 5 to 22.

The position offers a competitive salary starting at $50,000 for 10 months and $60,000 for 12 months, plus a signing bonus and benefits such as health coverage, 401(k), paid holidays, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Teaching License with Special Education endorsement OR content area endorsement.
• Safety-Care Certification (training provided).
• Must have a valid Virginia Drivers’ License and satisfactory driving record (<5 demerit points).
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement weekly lesson plans.
• Administer formal and informal assessments to measure student growth.
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Identify students at risk and initiate interventions.
• Participate in professional development.
• Maintain classroom records and adhere to policy.
