Job Purpose: The classroom teacher serves as an academic guide, helping students build foundational skills using approved curricula. Many students need to recover credits or are at risk of dropping out; thus, building strong relationships and encouraging attendance through engaging instruction are priorities. Teachers also foster self-motivation to promote graduation and career readiness.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
• Valid state teaching license in appropriate area
• Satisfactory completion of federal and state criminal background checks
• Proficiency in computer applications including Google Suite, MS Office, email, and internet
