Job summary

Fusion Academy in San Rafael is seeking an English Teacher to deliver 1-to-1 instruction and shape flexible schedules. You’ll design creative lessons, mentor students, and collaborate with colleagues to support academic, social, and emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of English courses (English Composition, Literature, and Language Arts), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
